Fresh Patch

Thank you for saving my life and familiarizing my puppy with grass, Fresh Patch!!!

Getting a newborn pup while living in an apartment is far from easy, considering he/she cannot start going out/being exposed to other dog areas for several weeks when vaccines are completed. This was SO stressful to me and I had no idea what to do about potty training, wanting to avoid pee pads. Reading such positive things about Fresh Patch then finally getting personal recommendations, I decided it was worth a try, even though I knew it wouldn't be the cheapest solution.

Right when Ollie arrived, I started teaching him "go potty" on the patch and taking him out to the patio. After a couple days, he seemed to get the hang of it (little genius!) and we are still working and adjusting to both pee AND poop on there. He continued happily using the same first patch for about 2 weeks, then we decided it was time for a "fresh" fresh patch delivery - which arrives quickly after ordering, thankfully!

What makes Fresh Patch so unique and special is the fact that it is real grass- nothing fake. All-natural and hydroponically grown in Southern California! Their site boasts, "the living grass absorbs liquids and controls odors naturally," and I can surely attest to this. Never once have I smelled urine omitted from his patch.

Now, aside from making cleanup and maintenance a piece of cake, I was over-the-moon excited when I brought Ollie back to my family home where I could safely introduce him to a dog-free yard as a pup. I was nervous he wouldn't know to go on the grass outdoors, but, being trained with his Fresh Patch, he knew right away that grass outside was where to potty! Hooray!! I cannot begin to tell you how thankful and delighted I am that we have found this apartment-living necessity. This has turned out to be the PAWfect solution for Ollie and I and we will be continuing our bi-weekly deliveries. Especially since their team has been so helpful, friendly, and responsive to all of our questions, needs, etc.

I've been a customer since the first day I brought my small dog home. Living in an apartment makes having a Fresh Patch readily available a non-negotiable! It's how I was able to easily housebreak my first dog and now my second dog, too. Not to mention how easy it makes my life during the colder months or when my dogs need to go to the bathroom during the night.

This is a great product. It saves me time and my maltese loves it!

I live in a Condo and use the Fresh Patch on my balcony or in my garage for those subzero winter days for my puppy. Olive loves it and the quality was fantastic! It helped with potty training, but I am keeping it around all year now!

We bought two pieces of dog grass for our Labradoodle puppy. The size fits well, and the grass is fresh. we are very satisfied with the product.

I have been using fresh patch since my dog came home. It has been really good and the delivery makes it very convenient to use. Will continue to buy.

The plastic tray is a must have for the XL Fresh Patch. I have a tiny toy poodle puppy that I am training and this has been a godsend as I live on the top floor of an apartment complex. I feel so much safer just letting her out on the balcony instead of having to go out at all hours of the night. So convenient!

I have a new puppy and my mom gifted me a subscription to Fresh Patch. It is perfect for my apartment balcony. My new 8 week puppy took to it immediately! So much safer than trying to go out in the middle of the night too. Could not be more convenient for training. I am so happy to have this!

We got a new puppy in 2021 and live on the top floor of a condo building. Puppy training was almost impossible- quickly running the dog outside, down stairs or elevator, on a constant basis, was not workable at all.

But we had a balcony and after searching around, discovered the offerings from Fresh Patch. The large size patch was and still is perfect!

We've been subscribed ever since. Our dog (cavalier king charles spaniel) is around 25 pounds and 3 years old now and he loves the patches. He knows to go up to the patio door and gently signal he needs to go out, and that's that.

As he's fully grown now, he does not use the patch for going #2 but this isn't a concern - he does this on regular walks. But it remains highly convenient and a life saver when he has to pee. It's also fantastic when weather outside is bad (our balcony is covered).

We plan to stick with these patches for a long time to come!

I wanted my cat to have a little piece of the outside world and he loves his patch of grass. Highly recommend for a bit of enrichment!
